Find IT First Research

Findit ranks results only based on the accuracy of it. Determined thank to a Score system you setup yourself. There is nothing Hidden, It's impossible to lie on the result.

The Scoring System

The whole list of result, you will get, depend of it.

"Title", "Description"

They are the 5 aspect where we are searching you terms you can select them according your needs.

"Title" and "Tag" have been Selected, while the 3 Others "Description", "Domain Name", "Hub Content" are unselected. If you launch the search at this state, it means we will only read the Title and the Tags of Each platform which have been indexed, and will give you result only accordinng to it (It's the kind of search you should do when you try to find new platform on a specific topic). Description, Domains and Content will not influence the result.

"1", "0", "1", "0", "0"

The number of time your search terms should be counted

"Title" and "Tags" have both "1", while the 3 Others "Description", "Domain Name", "Hub Content" have "0" (As long as they are unselected it should always be "0"). We will only count 1 time each of your search terms in the Title and in the Tags to calculate the rank the platform will reach (Obviously on such short example there will be a lot of draw, in this case the platform will be sorted by indexed date, ascendant to get the oldest First or descendant to get the Newest First).

The Number of point Your Terms should bring each time we spot One

"Title" and "Tags" (We just said before we will, according to the current setting, count your terms only 1 time for each) have both "2", while the 3 Others "Description", "Domain Name", "Hub Content" have "0" (As long as they are unselected it should always be "0"). So for each terms we will count it will bring 2 Point to the Scoring Ladder. The result are ranked by score. Higher it is, better is your Rank so the result with the highest number of point is always Ranked #1

"Speed: 10"

The speed to which you want the search to go. Be extremely cautious, FindIt giving extremely accurate result is a slower SE so you might want to Speed Up things. Still that faster it will be badder will be the accuracy. While A speed of 2 or less should not be harmful, we can no guaranty anything. "0" Being the most accurate result you can get, but it will give the slowest search.

With a speed of "10" you should get result within 1-2 Second it's extremely fast, but several platform will be discarded

"ApexArena"

Kinda Obvious, It's your Search Terms, Obviously you can put more than 1.

"Name of Hub" (Currently disabled)

If you want to search specific result inside 1 Platform only, you can indicate the Domain Name here, and we will only crawl this Hub.

This field is empty, which means we will search through the whole wide web (at least all the platform indexed)

"Sort By: "

It allow you to sort result depending on other criteria than the Score. The Date or the community Score

It's empty, so we will sort result by score. As mentioned above, higher is the score better is the rank

"Asc"

The order in which we sort result "Ascendant" or "Descendant"

"Extended Search"

By default this option is selected on most of SE. It will search your words and all its Variation. If you unselect it, it will do an "Exact Match" search (Only the word specified is researched)

"Extended Search" is Unselected so we will only search for "ApexArena". All the other possibilities including It "TheApexArena", "ApexArenas", "ZApexArena" .... will be discarded; It will give us even more precision.

"En"

The Language. Only result identified as the same language will be shown (You can disable it)

"Cultural List" (Coming)

At Tactikast we Know that culture is important, so in addition of your Search result we give you an additional list of curated result which should only include educational content reviewed by Expert (even if this time it will lack of precision )

"Sponsors" (Coming)

When a search Match, Any company who want to pay to be highlighted is listed here and the Sponsor Tab will Pop Up.

If a company paid to be highlighted when the Search is "VPS" it will be clearly listed here, and the Sponsor Tab will Pop Up before you get the result list just under.

"4.0"

THE SCORE, the Precious which allow us to rank every Result. The First being the Highest the last the Lowes (If you didn't modified the default sorting setting)

Earlier we said that we will count 1 time each term in the 2 Selected Category ("Title", "Description"). And it will give 2 point for each. So 1 * 2 * 2 = 4; The maximum score we can get for this search

The Total number of Times (independently of your setting) your terms appear in the 4 subsection of a Platform.

From top to bottom your terms appeared "2" Times in the Title, "0" Times in the Description, "1" Times in the Content extract/sample and "1" Time in the Keywords/Tags.

"Blank Field"

You can write a little note longside each Hub. If later you see it again in another result the notes will be here. Extremely usefull to notice right Hub

"The Star"

Your favourite, select as much as you want and you will be able to retrieve them Fast in your Account.

The Result with it's 4 Part (From top to bottom). Title, Description , Content extract, Keywords/Tags.

The Community Rates with also 4 Part (From top to bottom). Trust Rate (To indicate a hub which seem reliable. ie: trustpilot.com), Cultural Rate (indicating a platform with a lot of educational content ie: museums), Precision Rate (indicating a platform with give a lot of details on specific aspect. ie: europa.eu), Fun Rate (A hub where there is a lot of Jokes). You can add +/- 1 to each platform in each category helping everyone to know if it match with it's needs.

"Private" (Early Alpha)

The Company owning the current platform when available

We currently get this from the WHOIS, It's empty so no indication is given. But we are working on

"FR" (Early Alpha)

The Country of the Company owning the current platform when available

We currently get this country from the WHOIS, unfortunately it usually inndicate "Private". But we are working on

The IP or Country where the platform is hosted

"Lang: en"

The Language of the Platform, Helping you to find result in your Home Language

"En" means the platform should be in English

"⦸"; Blacklist

It allow you to Delist a platform. If you do so, it will no longer appear in any result independently of it's relevance (You can undo it in your Account).

"!!"; Report

Report a bad Hub. If you witness something illégal report it and we will take care of this Scoundrel

"⧉"; Duplicate

If you notice duplicated hub simply indicate it and we will Fix this.

The Themester

In case of you would like to change the Style of the platform you can simply (from Left to Right) specify a primary ton, a secondary ton and finally the level of contrast (+ from dark to light, - from light to dark ), everything will adapt automatically.

In Your Account after you Logged, You can manage your favourites, block list and your Saved Searchs. Here a Recap.

"Favorite Hubs";

All your Favourite platforms will be listed Here.

"Favorite Pictures";

All your Favourite Pictures.

"Favorite Videos";

All your Favourite Videos will be listed Here.

"Archived Research";

The list of all the Search You Saved.

At the end of each Search Result List, you have the possibility to record it. Thank to it, next time, you will find the exact same list directly From your account and without having to launch a New Research. Simply Select it and all the Result Will be listed again.

"Referencing";

Every Sites you Blacklisted will be Here.

When you Find a Platform you don't like, you can directly Blacklist it, to make sure it will never appear again in your Result List. Still if you want to re-index this platform and Find it again you can directly do it from Here.

Adding a New Hub to Find It

Find-It Being also Crowdsourced you can add as much Site you want in your Shelf. They should be Instantly added, If legal.

Copy/paste the site's full URL, you want to add.

Example: "https://find-it.world" including "Https"

"Hub Kind" (Disabled);

Select the Kind of Site your are going to list (Actuality, Showroom, Encyclopedia ….)

"Type of Check";

"The Crawl Limit" (Disabled);

The amount of Page we should Index.

"List It";

Check the URL is good and then List It. A pop up will appear indicating it have been done. Now the Platform should be indexed. Do a Research with only the "Domain Name" selected and the exact name of your platform. It should be There.

Example: If you added "https://find-it.world" your search Terms should be "find-it"

Give your Feedback

We need your Opinion. So take 5 Minutes and tell us what you like or not on Find-It. You can even rate us between 0 – 100 (One Hundred). Feel free to give us 100. Lastly, only if you would like us to reach you Back, don't forget to add your Mail.

Delete Account

After you gave your feedback, if you don't like the platform, you can delete your account. Simply add you password, submit and that's it. But be careful if you do it, nothing will be recoverable and will be definitively deleted.
